  • Traffic starts to build two hours earlier than usual.

Our Wednesday, Nov. 27 Thanksgiving travel advice is:

  • Leave before noon.
  • Leave after 7 p.m.
  • Leave Thanksgiving morning.

Every city is different. West Coast cities have an earlier rush hour (2 – 4 p.m.). East Coast cities have a later rush hour (3 – 5 p.m.). Take a look at this graph to track the worst traffic in your city.
