Inrix and TeleNav announced today at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas an agreement under which Inrix will provide traffic data to TeleNav for the first mobile phone-based GPS navigation service with intelligent traffic notification and one-click rerouting functionality.

TeleNav, the first company to launch a GPS navigation system on mobile phones in the US, also announced at CES the immediate availability of TeleNav Traffic™, the latest feature of TeleNav GPS Navigator™, a turn-by-turn, GPS-enabled voice and on-screen navigation service. TeleNav Traffic, initially available on certain phones, regularly monitors traffic and proactively alerts users of slowdowns and incidents along their routes. With just one click, TeleNav Traffic will reroute users in order to minimize travel time, taking into account the latest traffic conditions.
